Ingredients
1- 3 1/2 lb-4 lb
Rack of Pork Spare Ribs
1/2 Cup of your favorite Stubb's Bar-B-Q Rub
1 Bottle of Stubb's Moppin' Sauce Bar-B-Q Baste
1 Bottle of your favorite Stubb's Bar-B-Q Sauce
(Optional) 1 chunk of hickory and/or fruit wood. If you have
a gas grill then you can purchase a smoke box at your grill
retailer
Instructions
Have your outdoor
cooker set and preheated to 250 degrees for 40 minutes.
Remove membrane
from bone on the backside of rack (this can be achieved with
a simple paper towel...just peel from the edge and work your
way through).
Sprinkle rub on
rack.
If you have a charcoal
cooker, and want to add smoke flavor, then add chunk(s) of
wood on coal. For smoke flavor on a gas grill, add your wood
via a smoke box.
Set rack, bone-side
down, in the grate of your preheated cooker.
Close lid and let
cook for 2 hours. After 2 hours, liberally brush on Stubb's
Moppin' Sauce Bar-B-Q Baste.
Let cook for another
1 and 1/2 hours (3 1/2 hrs into cook), then liberally brush
on your favorite Stubb's Bar-B-Q Sauce.
Let cook for another
1/2 hour. The meat should be falling off the bone and are
ready to eat!
Enjoy!
